Any level of incontinence is not normal, however commonplace. Many people feel it is inevitable and seek ways of coping with it on a day-to-day basis. It has a major effect on confidence, and can be the cause of much embarrassment.
Pelvic floor weakness can be due to many different contributory factors. As a fitness professional, I have a responsibility to all of my clients to provide safe and effective exercise prescription. If the foundation is weak, then the rest of the body is not as strong as it can be. Education and awareness is vital if the condition is to be improved.
